Fanatics Collect Weekly Auction #243 — 2026 Topps Finest, Topps X Derek Jeter & Football Highlights

A new week of Fanatics Collect auctions is live, and Auction #243 brings a very different lineup from last week.

This week’s Fanatics Collect Weekly Auction #243 features 67 Arthur’s Cards & Collectibles listings, with 44 cards coming from the newly released 2026 Topps Finest Baseball.

That group includes current stars, rookies, prospects, Mini-Diamond Refractors, Pristine grades, a low-numbered Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Orange /25, and several cards from players who remain firmly in the spotlight heading into the final weeks of the baseball season.

Outside Finest, the lineup adds a strong Derek Jeter group, football cards from Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Emmitt Smith and others, two Sean O’Malley UFC cards, and a Jude Bellingham Bundesliga CGC 10.

Auction closes Sunday, September 13, with extended bidding starting at 7pm AZ.

Arthur’s Picks This Week

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. World’s Finest Orange /25 CGC 10

One of the lowest-numbered cards in Auction #243 comes from the Topps Finest group.

The 2026 Topps Finest World’s Finest Orange Refractor Vladimir Guerrero Jr. #WF-17 is serial-numbered to just 25 copies and graded CGC 10 Gem Mint.

That combination gives the card several collecting angles at once: a proven star, a low-numbered parallel, premium Topps Finest branding, and a Gem Mint grade.

Orange /25 sits firmly in the scarce end of the Finest parallel structure, making this one of the easiest cards in the lineup to single out.

Derek Jeter 2000 Pacific Prism Rapture Gold CGC 8.5

Auction #243 includes several Derek Jeter cards, but this 2000 Pacific Prism Rapture Gold #99 immediately caught our attention.

The card is graded CGC 8.5 NM-MT+ and comes from an era where shiny inserts and parallels were beginning to become a much larger part of the hobby.

For Jeter collectors, this one has a very different feel from the flagship and modern retrospective cards that make up much of his market.

It also fits a theme we continue to like: recognizable stars on distinctive late-1990s and early-2000s cards that do not necessarily look like everything else in the display case.

Isaac Bruce Topps Chrome Preview CGC 9

Football gets one of its stronger cards of the week with this 2000 Topps Chrome Previews Isaac Bruce #CP18, graded CGC 9 Mint.

Bruce is already one of the defining receivers of his era, and this card adds another collecting angle with the Chrome treatment.

That matters because late-1990s and early-2000s Chrome cards tend to stand apart from standard base issues of the period, especially when paired with a recognizable Hall of Fame name and a strong grade.

The CGC 9 Mint gives this copy a clean presentation, while the Topps Chrome Preview format makes it a little more distinctive than a typical 2000 football card.

For Rams collectors, Hall of Fame collectors, or anyone who likes early Chrome football, this is one of the better non-baseball cards in Auction #243.

Konnor Griffin Rookie Pair

Konnor Griffin gets two 2026 Topps Finest cards this week:

• 2026 Finest Rookie #6 — CGC 10 Gem Mint
• 2026 Finest Arrivals #A-28 — CGC 10 Gem Mint

The timing is especially interesting.

Griffin returned to the Pirates on September 4 after spending nearly two months on the injured list with a finger injury, putting one of baseball’s most exciting young players back on the field for the stretch run.

His rookie-year cards now have the benefit of actual Major League performance behind them rather than being purely prospect-driven.

For collectors following Griffin’s development, this week offers two different Finest looks in matching Gem Mint grades.

Jac Caglianone Finest Arrivals CGC 10 Pristine

Jac Caglianone enters Auction #243 with one of the stronger grades in the entire lineup.

His 2026 Topps Finest Arrivals #A-1 rookie is graded CGC Pristine 10.

Caglianone also gave collectors plenty to notice during August, batting .411 with six home runs and 26 RBI for Kansas City during the month.

That combination of recent Major League production, a rookie insert, and the Pristine designation makes this one of the more interesting young-player cards in the auction.

Miguel Cabrera Call of the Captain Patch /99

The 2022 Topps X Derek Jeter Call of the Captain group adds a little variety outside the 2026 Topps Finest-heavy portion of the auction.

One of the standouts is a Miguel Cabrera Silver Patch #12 numbered /99, graded CGC 9 Mint.

It combines one of the most accomplished careers of his generation, a memorabilia element, a limited print run, and a Jeter-curated product that has its own distinctive identity.

For collectors who prefer memorabilia cards and veteran names over modern rookie chasing, this is one of the more interesting alternatives in the lineup.

2026 Topps Finest Takes Center Stage

If Auction #242 was a broad mix of baseball eras and products, Auction #243 is much more concentrated.

Forty-four of the 67 listings come from 2026 Topps Finest Baseball.

That gives collectors a chance to compare a wide range of cards from the same product family: standard cards, rookies, Arrivals inserts, World’s Finest, Finest Team, Timelines, Refractors, Mini-Diamonds, and several premium grades.

Rookies & Prospects Lead the Group

The rookie and young-player checklist is especially deep.

Konnor Griffin, JJ Wetherholt, Roman Anthony, Jac Caglianone, Nolan McLean, Chase DeLauter, Bryce Eldridge, Chase Burns, Samuel Basallo, Colson Montgomery, Cam Schlittler, Brandon Sproat, Payton Tolle, and others are all represented.

Griffin’s return from the injured list gives his cards a particularly timely angle, while Caglianone is coming off a huge August. Nolan McLean has also continued to give the Mets quality innings, including a 2.10 ERA across five August starts.

The group offers a good mix of players who have already reached the Majors and others whose markets are still more prospect-driven.

Outside Finest, one of the strongest themes this week is Derek Jeter.

The lineup includes the 2000 Pacific Prism Rapture Gold, a 1998 Bowman Jeter CGC 9, a 2023 Topps Update ’88 Gold /75, and several cards from the 2022 Topps X Derek Jeter Call of the Captain set.

That Call of the Captain group includes:

Football Highlights

With football season officially getting underway, we’ll be the first to admit that we wish this week’s auction had a little more football in it.

The lighter lineup is mostly a matter of timing. Longer grading turnaround times have left a number of our football cards still working their way back to us—but we promise there is plenty more on deck as the season gets rolling.

For now, Auction #243 still includes a fun group of cards with plenty of late-1990s and early-2000s appeal.

A pair of 2000 Topps Hobby Masters cards features Emmitt Smith and Brett Favre, two of the most recognizable names of their era. The Hobby Masters insert gives both cards a little more personality than a standard base issue, particularly for collectors who enjoy distinctive inserts from this period.

The group also includes the 2000 Topps Chrome Previews Isaac Bruce #CP18 CGC 9 Mint, one of our Arthur’s Picks this week. The early Chrome treatment, strong grade, and Hall of Fame receiver make it one of the more interesting football cards in the lineup.

A 2000 Topps Peyton Manning #100 CGC 8 adds another major name from the era, while a Blake Corum rookie gives the group a more modern option.
