Fanatics Collect Auction #242: Judge, Caminero, Bench /25 & Sosa /10

A new week of Fanatics Collect auctions is live, and Auction #242 brings a baseball-heavy lineup spanning Hall of Fame names, modern stars, prospects, rookies, low-numbered parallels, and a few cards from outside the diamond.

This week’s Fanatics Collect Weekly Auction #242 features 60 Arthur’s Cards & Collectibles listings, led by an early Aaron Judge Bowman Chrome Refractor prospect card, a five-card Junior Caminero rookie group, a Johnny Bench Orange Silver Pack parallel numbered to 25, a Sammy Sosa Black Silver Pack parallel numbered to just 10, a Cal Raleigh Topps Chrome rookie PSA 10, and a Lamine Yamal rookie PSA 10.

Baseball accounts for most of the lineup, with additional cards of Shohei Ohtani, Mike Trout, Ken Griffey Jr., Barry Bonds, Derek Jeter, Rickey Henderson, Chipper Jones, Bobby Witt Jr., Pete Crow-Armstrong, Nolan Ryan, Spencer Jones, Ethan Holliday, Nick Kurtz, and more.

Arthur’s Picks This Week

Aaron Judge Bowman Chrome Refractor Prospect

Before Aaron Judge became the face of the Yankees and one of the defining power hitters of his generation, he was still working his way through Bowman prospect checklists.

This 2014 Bowman Chrome Refractor Aaron Judge #CTP-39 comes from that early stage of his career and is graded CGC 9.5 Mint+.

That combination gives it several collecting angles at once: Bowman Chrome, an early Judge prospect card, the familiar Refractor finish, and a high grade.

Judge entered 2026 coming off back-to-back American League MVP awards, adding even more historical weight to cards produced before his Major League breakout.

Junior Caminero Rookie Run

Sometimes one card tells the story. This week, Junior Caminero gets five.

Auction #242 includes:

• 2024 Topps Chrome #213 — PSA 10 Gem Mint
• 2024 Bowman Chrome Mega Box #56 — PSA 10 Gem Mint
• 2024 Finest #24 — PSA 10 Gem Mint
• 2024 Topps Update Purple Holo Foilboard /799 #US223 — PSA 9 Mint
• 2024 Topps Heritage #267 — PSA 9 Mint

That gives collectors a chance to target Caminero across flagship, Chrome, Bowman, Finest, Heritage, and a numbered parallel rather than relying on a single rookie issue.

The timing is good, too. Caminero hit his 36th home run of the 2026 season on August 29, after becoming the second-youngest player in MLB history to post consecutive 35-homer seasons earlier in the month.

For anyone following one of baseball’s emerging young power hitters, this is one of the more interesting groups we’ve had in a weekly auction.

Johnny Bench Orange /25 PSA 10

Johnny Bench combines Hall of Fame history with modern Chrome color in one of the lowest-numbered cards in Auction #242.

The 2025 Topps Chrome Update Silver Pack ’90 Orange #34 is serial-numbered to just 25 copies and graded PSA 10 Gem Mint.

Orange /25 sits well into the scarce end of the Chrome parallel structure, making this more than simply another modern card of a retired star.

For Reds collectors, Hall of Fame collectors, or anyone drawn to low-numbered Chrome parallels, there is a lot to like here.

Sammy Sosa Black /10

One of the lowest-numbered cards in Auction #242 comes from a modern Chrome release featuring one of the most recognizable sluggers of the late 1990s and early 2000s.

This 2025 Topps Chrome Update Silver Pack ’90 Black Sammy Sosa #73 is serial-numbered to just 10 copies and graded PSA 9 Mint.

The Black /10 parallel sits even lower in the print run than the Johnny Bench Orange /25 also featured this week, giving Auction #242 two especially scarce Silver Pack cards of established stars.

For collectors who like low-numbered Chrome color, retired-player parallels, or Sosa specifically, this is one of the easiest cards in the lineup to single out.

Cal Raleigh Topps Chrome Rookie PSA 10

Cal Raleigh has become one of baseball’s most recognizable power-hitting catchers, but his 2026 season got off to an incredibly slow start at the plate.

Lately, though, his bat has finally started to wake up.

Raleigh hit nine home runs during August, including seven over his final 10 games of the month, providing a much-needed reminder of the power that made him one of baseball’s biggest stories a year ago.

This week includes his 2022 Topps Chrome #149 rookie graded PSA 10 Gem Mint.

For collectors who prefer recognizable flagship Chrome rookies in top grades, Raleigh’s recent power surge makes this one of the more interesting cards in the lineup right now.

Lamine Yamal Donruss FIFA Rookie PSA 10

Soccer gets only one card in Auction #242, but it is a notable one.

The 2023 Donruss FIFA Lamine Yamal #177 rookie is graded PSA 10 Gem Mint, combining one of world soccer’s most recognizable young players with a top PSA grade.

Yamal and Barcelona are entering another busy September that includes both La Liga and Champions League play, keeping one of soccer’s brightest young stars firmly in the spotlight.

In a week dominated by baseball, this one gives soccer collectors a clear card to circle.
